Robert Frank Neal

Robert Neal was one of three sons born to Nevin and Frances Neal in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is predeceased by his parents and older brother, Ron Neal. His younger brother, David Neal and wife, reside in Fort Worth, Texas. He is survived by his wife Sally S. Victor and daughter Melinda C. Neal. A graduate from the University of Texas at Austin (’74) and University of Texas at Austin Law School (’76) with high honors and honors respectively, he was a Texas Longhorn through and through. Robert was a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa and equally dedicated Eagle Scout.

His father was a history professor at Texas Christian University and his mother was a grade school teacher, from which he developed a love of knowledge and became an avid history buff. One of his greatest gifts was the birth of his daughter, Melinda. Robert was a devoted and beloved father and husband. He worked with Sally at Save Austin's Cemeteries events.

An attorney for over 45 years and property owner, Austin, Texas was home. Robert had many clients that stayed with him for many years. Recently, he retired from his legal practice. Our thanks for all the support go out to all the folks at DaVita Dialysis, his physician Mason Mileur, physicians, friends and family.

A graveside service for Robert will be held Friday, August 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas 78731.
