Robert P. (Bob) Brown passed gently away in the early morning of June 12, after 101 years of a life well lived. A brother, son, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather, Bob was even more. He married Mable Carlson in 1936 and two years later moved to Texas to get work and raise a family. Bob was a 37 year employee of B.F. Goodrich Tire Co, Wholesale Division, Account Executive and District Manager in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.
Bob was preceded in death by two brothers, six sisters, a grandson, and by his wife of 60 years, Mable. He is survived by son Robert and his wife Sue of New Braunfels, son James of Cedar Park, and daughter Barbara Greene and husband Gary of Cedar Park. He is survived by 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Bob was confirmed in the Lutheran Church as were his wife and three children. Bob lived at Westminster Manor for 18 years after the death of Mable and the family is greatly indebted to this fine institution for their exceptional care.
