Ray Colón

Raynoel Colón was born on June 7th, 1983 and transited this world on October 24th, 2023. Ray was enthusiastic, vivacious, intelligent and had big dreams for his future. He was the Co-founder of Modern Transport Network LLC, whose mission was to connect companies to carriers for load shipments. He built and managed a team and allowed gateways for others to have a bright and incredibly successful financial futures. He loved being challenged, reading, and learning as much as he possibly could on any and every possible topic.

Ray’s passion was to explore the world. He loved traveling and being able to experience other cultures. He was free spirited and envisioned himself living in many different parts of the world. His excitement was contagious.

Ray’s biggest passion was being a loving and incredible father to his children. He instilled the importance of hard work and dedication in all aspects of life. Most importantly he valued the time he spent with his children and showing up to all the slight but significant moments in his children’s lives. He loved taking his kids on vacations and experiencing all what life had to offer.

Ray’s charm and big personality made being in his presence a joy. He had the ability to make everyone around him laugh and smile. Although he was taken from us too soon his memory will live on in each and every single one us who loved and cared for him so deeply.

Ray is survived by his children Xavier, Alyssa,Taliah, Rayden and Kai. His mother, Dorca and father Israel, stepfather Mark, sisters Mibzy and Brenda, and brother Joel.

A visitation for Ray will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 5416 Parkcrest Drive, Austin, TX 78731, followed by a funeral service starting at 7:00 PM.
