Pete Adrian Aragon, 34, of Buda, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Pete was born on December 3rd, 1987, to Gilda and Jorge Aragon. He was a proud husband and father, whose greatest joy was both of his daughters. Pete was the glue and an important member of a huge and loving family and a member of Unity Church of Austin.
He loved woodworking, painting, reading, and drinking rum & coke. He enjoyed relaxing and watching horror films and comedies, cooking BBQ and smoking meat with his family, as well as listening to audiobooks on his downtime. One of the proudest moments of his life was working for the state as an Accountant for the Texas Facility Commission for the last 10 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Amanda Marie Kinney and two daughters: Tula Pearl Aragon and Genevieve Grace Marie Aragon of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by his sisters: Sophy McDougal of Belize, Celena Andrea Aragon of Austin, Texas and Cheyenne Aragon Perez of Austin, Texas. He loved his five brother-in-laws and was extremely close to his nephew Dejon Jones, niece Kyrah McDougal, and godson Kaelan Jones.
He had immense compassion and a willingness to help anyone at a drop of a hat. He was deeply loved. His spirit, sweet personality, and love of family and friends will be greatly missed.
A visitation for Pete will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM.
