Patricia Ann Loftis

She is survived by her husband and best friend James and her son David Loftis and his wife Denise and she is preceded in death by her daughter Diane Schwartz. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Michelle Hilsberg and her husband Konrad, Megan Loftis, Lynae Stevens and her husband Mark, Katy Hausenfluke and her husband Matt, and Cory Schwartz. She is very proud of her six great grandchildren, Ella and Lyla Hilsberg and Chris, Nathan, Addison and Reagan Hausenfluke.

Patsy graduated from Austin High School in 1950 and she retired from the accounting office of Austin ISD in 1989 with 37 years of service. She was Disciples of Christ by faith and was a long time member of Koenig Lane Christian Church where for many years she served as the Church organist. Patsy and James loved music and sang in the choir. She would play the piano at their house for James and their beloved dog of 15 years Annie Jo. They would sing in harmony filling the house full of happiness and joy. In their early retirement, Patsy and James loved to travel including some destinations that might possibly have casinos. They loved to wake up every morning, read the paper, eat breakfast and play games. Patsy and James loved their family very much and attended numerous sporting contests and events for their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patsy will be missed by her family and many friends.
