Nicolasa "Nico" Serrano

Nicolasa Serrano, our beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend aged 62, passed away on October 2, 2024, in Austin, TX.

Born on September 10, 1962, Nicolasa, affectionately known as Nico, was known for her loving heart, glowing smile, and the warm hugs she generously gave.

Nico is survived by her mother, Lupe Serrano; sister, Mary Montoya and her husband Eddie; nephews and niece, Benny (Vangie), Jennifer, and Albert (Crystal); great nephews and nieces, Alexus, Sonny Jr., Brittany, Juliana, Eddie Jr., Benny Jr., Domenic, Nicolas, and Abigail; great-great niece, Catalina; special cousins, Beatrice (James), DeeDee (Lisa), Rachel (Ronnie), Stella, and Joe; and her beloved furry friend, Lucky. She was preceded in death by her father, Brigido Serrano.

Nicolasa will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her warmth and kindness will be remembered fondly by those she leaves behind. Special Thanks to the Dell/Seton Hospital and the Christopher House Staff for their loving care of Nico.

A visitation for Nico will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish South Chapel, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78704. A recitation of the holy rosary will occur Monday, October 7, 2024 at 6:30 PM. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78704.
