Known affectionately as “Grandma” by many, Mildred was the beloved matriarch of her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved and cherished deeply. Her kindness and warmth welcomed everyone she met—she never met a stranger—and her quick wit and charm cultivated lifelong friendships.
A proud Texan, Mildred was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering for the San Antonio Spurs, Texas Longhorns, and Dallas Cowboys. She also had a deep love for country music, especially the songs of George Strait, which brought her great comfort and joy.
A woman of strong Baptist faith, Mildred was a devoted member of her church community, where she found fellowship and spiritual inspiration throughout her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Baptist Church of Driftwood, a place that brought her immense joy and meaning.
Mildred’s legacy of love, faith, and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with gratitude and love.
