Mary Jane Moncrief Edwards, age 75, died April 8, 2006 of lung cancer. She was born in Sulphur Springs, TX and lived for the past 11 years in Austin. She graduated in 1952 from TWU. She loved art and visited most major museums and churches in Europe. Mary Jane was a docent with the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, TX. She loved to draw and paint. She was active in her local DAR chapter and her church. She played the piano and enjoyed the symphony. She was a woman of strong faith. She is survived by Clark, her husband of 53 years; three daughters, Emily Marroquin, Sarah Jane Bauman, Kathryn Erickson; and one son, Campbell Clark Edwards, their spouses and ten grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Ann Rice. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2006 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Westlake United Methodist Church, 1460 Red Bud Trail. A reception will immediately follow the service.
