Mary Cooper Denham, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to many passed away peacefully on February 11, 2024. She was born in Austin, Texas to Clarence Edward Cooper and Betty Sue Spivey on December 03, 1956.
Mary graduated from Dripping Springs High School in 1973. She married Hunter Denham. Mary was a long time employee for Capital Metro and Austin School District along with many other side jobs that she had. She was a determined and hardworking woman. She truly enjoyed the simple things in life; chatting with friends and family, thrifting, fishing, but nothing compared to spending time with her grandchildren.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Hunter; son, Gary Cooper and daughter-in law Rebekah; grandchildren, Abby, Blake, Alisyn, and Karlee; sister, Nelda Conkle and her husband Harry; brother, Eddie Cooper and his wife Lanell; and all her nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Celebration of Life for Mary will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at 2:00pm at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Ave, Austin, Texas 78704.
