Lynda Carter Lynda Carter passed away on September 30, 2003, at Christopher House. She was born April 23, 1949, in Austin, Texas, the daughter of Dorlas Myers and the late Royce Myers. Lynda is survived by her husband, J.C. Carter; daughter, Jill Carter; grandchildren, Benjamin Ray Mouser and Kylee Michelle Mouser; brother, Royce Myers; nephew, Christopher Myers; father-in-law, Frank K. Carter; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, including Kenneth Carter, Dennis Carter, Dwaine and Letitia Carter, Helen Elliff and Rosemary and Dennis Schmidt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lynda had many long time family friends including Boone and Lorraine Dowdy. Lynda graduated from McCallum High School and Nixon-Clay Business College. She excelled in all of her professional endeavors including her successful bookkeeping business and Avon business. In addition to her businesses, she worked as a Wedding Consultant for The Abbey and organized special events for Highland Mall Business Center and CASA of Travis County. Lynda was a tireless volunteer and advocate and her passions included her work with Lone Star Girl Scouts; Casa of Travis County; Ben Hur Shrine; and CenTex Tin Lizzie's Model T Club. Lynda will be remembered for her determination, her strength, her loyalty, her humor, her work excellence and work ethic, her commitment to her friends and her love of family. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, October 3, 2003, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress, Austin, Texas.
