Lisa Mach

Elyse P. Mach (Lisa Mach) original owner of Eyes of Texas Properties, died in Austin on June 20, 2018. Lisa was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on November 2, 1947. Her parents were Bill Koontz and Polly Hedgecock Koontz. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin College in 1970.

Lisa's brave entrepreneurial spirit brought her to Austin, Texas where she originated the Eyes of Texas Property Management Company, where she worked for many years, enjoying success and making great friends and business connections. Lisa always took an interest in helping other people to get their start in real estate and successful rental property management. Her office was organized, fun, and often full of laughter, due to Lisa's personality and enjoyment of people.

Lisa is survived by her devoted husband of 20 years, Bill Donohoe. Bill and Lisa loved to collect art, to enhance the beauty of their house and yards, to travel, and to be 'mom and dad' to very lucky cat and dog pets over the years, including sweet current Lucy.

Lisa is also survived by her half-sister Candace Stuart, and her half-brothers J.P. Koontz and Jamie Koontz. She also leaves behind many friends and business co-workers who will miss her dearly.

A Memorial Service in planned for Friday, June 29 at 2 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, with a reception afterwards at Lisa and Bill's home at 1207 Romeria. All are invited.
