Lena (Lynne) P. Edwards, World's Greatest Mother, peacefully passed over on November 4th, 2014, at the age of 88.
When Lynne and her four dear sisters were a together, they were a spirited force to behold. Lynne was devoted to her family and enjoyed fishing, bowling, bridge, art, dogs and dancing - a good rickey-tickey song would get her motor running every time! The sun does not shine quite as brightly since Lynne's soul left us.
A loving and devoted Mother, she is survived by daughters, Linda Edwards and Cathy Edwards-Mikeska and son-in-law, Gary Mikeska. Lynne's beloved husband of 59 years, Lt. Col. Paul M. Edwards, has awaited their reunion since 2007.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar Blvd. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet, Texas.
