Larry Melvin Nau, Jr.

Larry Jr. was born on the 27th of April 1961, in Austin, TX, to Larry and Rose Nau. He was a 4th generation Austinite. Larry Jr. was so proud of his family history and was honored to carry the legacy of the Nau family name. He worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years; Larry Jr. was passionate about his work, but even more passionate about his customers. He loved his University of Texas Longhorns and would enjoy attending as many football and basketball games as he could. His love for his church was evident when you saw him with one of his Gethsemane crosses around his neck.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Regina Long Nau; parents, Dr. Larry and Rose Nau, of Austin; siblings, John Nau and Shannon Errett, of Cedar Park, and Kirsten Ramzel and her spouse Newman, of Schertz; nephews and niece, William Errett, Katherine Errett and Nikolaus Ramzel, who all affectionately knew him as "Uncle Bobo".

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Pastor's Benevolence Fund or to the charity of your choice.

The funeral service will take place at Gethsemane Lutheran Church at three o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 19th of May 2012. The church is located at 200 West Anderson Lane (Highway 183, between IH-35 & Lamar), Austin, TX 78752, (512) 836-8560.
