With great sorrow I announce the passing of Larry Richard Griggs on Friday, March 20, 2020, after a short battle with pancreatic and liver cancer. Larry will be forever missed by his wife Lesley of 49 years, his extended family and numerous friends.
Larry and his wife loved to travel, especially anywhere in the mountains. After retirement they spent several years exploring Canada, Nova Scotia, China and were working their way through all 50 US States. Especially memorable was a visit to Yellowstone National Park in mid winter and being two, of only four people, witnessing Old Faithful erupt.
In view of the ongoing and necessary restrictions on gathering due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a traditional funeral service is just not possible at this time. Until it is safe and a memorial celebration can be planned, family, friends and loved ones are asked to keep Larry and Lesley in your thoughts and prayers.
