Kim Kathryn Campbell Jordan

Mrs. Kim Jordan was preceded in death by her parents, Harry J. Campbell and Lora Ruth Young Marsh. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Leonard C. Jordan, children Jason Jordan and wife Juliet, Steven Woods and wife Lelah, Cynthia Woods and husband Rob Hanks. Grandchildren Raelyn, Dawson, Kylie, Paige, Fallon, Winter, Michael, Sophie and Jordan. Numerous nieces and nephews, dear friends and all of the “extra” children she opened her heart to. Special mention Kim’s dearest friend, Kathleen Haas and husband Bobby, niece Shelly Miller.

Originally from Odessa, TX, Kim moved to Austin in 1973 with her husband Len and son, Jason. Following her entrepreneurial spirit, she and Len owned several businesses, including many years operating Lake Travis Day School. She began her tenure of sharing her creativity with young minds at Child Craft Schools and it was there she returned and worked until her death. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family, her attention to fine details in celebrating the lives of those she held dear.

Kim will be greatly missed and the void created by her passing will never be filled.

A visitation will be held at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2015. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Colonial Chapel of Cook Walden Funeral Home with burial to follow at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Dr, Austin, TX.
