Katie Elizabeth Watson, age 53, passed away November 20, 2010 at Christopher house from a heart condition. Katie graduated from Pan Am University in 1978 with a bachelors degree in nursing science. She first worked at McAllen General, then later at Brackenridge Hospital. She worked there for 29 years and spent most of that time in the intensive care unit. Katie spent her life taking care of people and always put others first. Katie is predeceased by brothers Gary Stewart Moore (2008) and Larry Monroe Moore (2005); Sister Annie Calline Moore (1994); and mother Violet Rose Moore (1992). Katie is survived by her daughter and son Michelle and James Watson, her grandchildren Malachai, Lily and Savannah. She is also survived by her brothers Michael (Edinburg), Ronnie (Manor), and Paul Moore (Manor); and her sister Rosalie Culp (Manor). In addition, we would also like to acknowledge her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
