I would just like to say how sorry I am and send my prayers out to the family. I was blessed to know Josh when I was in High School. He was always a fun loving guy and he always had this way to were he could make me laugh or smile even if I was having a bad day. Josh will truly be missed by all of those who had the chance to know him.

This month has been a rough one. My brother gets married on saturday and i know his best friend will be there in spirit to celebrate with him. We all miss Josh very much and it's hard to believe it's already been over a year. We will never forget him. All my love always



I don't really know what to say here... just remembering Josh today (and always), and keeping you all in my prayers (as always). Suzette, Rick, and Tiff... I love you.



I don't know where to start. Josh and I were very close growing up. We were together just about every day from 7th grade until we were about 19. He and I have been through everything imaginable. No matter what, we were on eachothers side. One of his favorite places to talk about was his families place on the Sabine river and the times he had there. Josh was like a brother to me, my sibilings and a son to my mother. His family has always made me feel the same. We all have so many wonderful memories of him. Josh you are the best friend I ever had, I sure will miss you buddy.



To the family,   Our thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of you. Josh was a gentle and kind young man. His smile was contagious and he could light up a room with it. He will be deeply missed by all of us and his memory will live on in our hearts forever. We are here for all of you and if there is anything that we can do, please let us know. I've known Josh as long as I've known his mom - that's been 14 years now.   Suzette has always treasured her kids, and I have seen her burst with pride at the sound of their joy and laughter.  I have been a shoulder she cried on when she struggled with their growing pains.  I'll always remember Josh as a little boy, the quiet one with sandy blonde hair, cute smile and freckles on his face.   My heart goes out to my dear friend and her family for their loss... with all my love.



I had the honor and privelage of being Josh's sister.  I was able to share a lot of great things with Josh.  We have wonderful parents and lots of wonderful family.  We were able to share 4 other siblings other than ourselves.  He was very close in my life, even though I did not get to spend as much time as I wanted or needed to, but he lives in my heart now.      I have many memories of Rick, Josh and me growing up together.  We did a lot of things together. We would go fishing, riding four wheelers, skating, riding bikes, hanging out at the camp, spending many summers in Buna.  We went to the same schools, and Rick and Josh always were there to protect me from anyone who tried to mess with me!     As an older brother that was part of his job, and he did it very well. He taught me many things as we grew up about life, he helped me as much as he could when I needed it, he protected me, and we also got into trouble together.      My brother was a very loving, caring person, with a beautiful smile.  He will live through us, his family, and friends.  He was a very special and will be missed incredibly. He will always be in my heart and mind, and I know he is in Heaven watching over all of us.    I remember this one funny story, we still lived on Ruth Ave. in Austin, and it was when he was totally into paintballing. He had gotten a paintball gun for either christmas or his birthday, and he convinced me to run around the backyard, and he was gonna shoot me.  He told me it wouldn't hurt and he would only shoot me in the leg.  Being a little sister with two older brothers I always wanted them to think I was cool, and I always wanted to hang around and do big kid stuff.  So I ran around the yard, and as I got to the end of the yard, I heard the gun go off.  All the sudden I got struck in the back of the head, it hurt really bad.  It's funny to look back on now and to remember how much I loved him then and now, to do something that stupid!!! I love you Josh.  Forever in my heart,  With Love, Your Sister   Tiffanie



To Tiffany, Rick and Suzette, I'm truelly saddened and so very sorry for you loss. I was out of town traveling and wasn't aware of his death till later. They didn't want to upset me then and it would have and I would have at least tried to get back. I knew they'd tell you and you'd understand my not being there. I still feel bad for not being there. He was a great kid, loving brother, a best friend and one of the best son's. The other one's Rick. And that's not to forget the sweetest of the sweet and gorgous Tiffany. Suzette, I miss you all, the talks and visits over our kids and trying to figure out if THEY weren't the one's that were going to put US away and when. They're not supposed to go before us, but now that Josh has, I'm pretty sure it will be and much better place when we get there, since he'll have sometime on his hands to fix up what needs fix'n and he's just the guy to do it. What we remember most about Josh was the way his eyes sparkled when he smiled. It has been nearly ten years since we last saw Josh but we have never forgotten his sweet nature. We believe the vulnerability we sensed in Josh only made him that much more endearing. Even before we had kids of our own, we knew that we wanted them to be like Rick, Josh & Tiff, which we believe is a glowing tribute to how well their mother raised them. Godspeed Josh. We look forward to seeing you in the next life.

To All who Knew & Loved Josh,    Thank you so much for what you have done to help all of us through this most difficult time.  The strength that I have at this time comes directly from God, Josh and all of the many things all of you have done for us through hugs, sharing memories, being there to show me the sorrow in your hearts & in your eyes, the calls, cards, prayers, thoughts, food, money, flowers, plants, & the many details that it takes for everything to come together like it did.      I feel very comforted by all of you & I know that Joshua is proud to see from heaven, that we were there to support & care for each other. It always made my heart ache to know when you were struggling. I always loved to see the smile on your face & feel the happiness in your heart.      When you left us to be with our sweet Jesus you were doing really, really good in life; you were working hard, making good money, planning your future with Vanessa & planning a work trip to Hawaii.  It doesn't make sense that now was your time to go.      But what I know for sure is that none of what was happening or what was going to happen could take the place of being in the "Arms of Jesus" with your precious Granny right there with you, keeping you as safe & secure & happier than you've ever felt or known.      I know without a shadow of a doubt that I will never worry about you again.  While I will miss you terribly, I will never worry about you again.  Instead, I will take what I've learned from you & enjoyed with you & use that to live the best life I can - just for "You"!      I encourage all of you to do the same for Josh. Suzette and family,    I have been struggling for days for the words to try to communicate the deep sorrow I feel for all of you.  Josh was a precious gift that left us way too early.  I know that he is in a better place, yet that hardly helps ease the pain in my heart. Suzette,  I read all the condolences before I wrote mine, and the thing I got most out of all of them is that Josh was his mother's child.   If I had to describe you, anything anyone said about Josh would fit  you perfectly.  I never new Josh, but he obviously made a great impression on many people and will be greatly missed.  Even after seeing you last night, in one of your darkest moments, your smile was still the brightest thing in the room.  No one will ever forget how the town of Buna changed and will never be the same again after the "Wagner Girls" got here.  But boy do we have some great memories, and sounds like all of Josh's family and friends have some of those same great memories.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Something like this steals my words from me and I'm left with a profound sadness that resonates to the depths of my soul. I've known Josh and Family since Elementary School, about 15 years now, as we all grew up next door to one another on Ruth. Today I couldn't even bring myself to look at his number in my phone, knowing that I couldn't call him anymore. Dear Suzette, Rick and Tiffany,  Although we have not been able to visit as much as we did at one time, all of you are just like family to us. I have no words to say about how upset I am.  Josh was a true friend, someone I think that would have done anything for me. I am so sorry for his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.



Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss.  I will always remember Josh as the kid with the beautiful, genuine smile.  Both Travis and Tyler will miss their dear friend whom they knew they could talk to any time because he was a good listener and truly cared about them. He will be remembered by us with an ache in our hearts that his passing has left us with a hole in our lives that only he could fill.  One of my favorite memories of Josh happened when he was in Middle School at Lamar. I took Tyler, Dusty and him  up to the ranch to burn out the dump.  They took the trash can from the bathroom and threw it into the fire.  Little did they know there was a Lysol Spray can in there and when it heated up it shot up in the air like a bottle rocket.  They all three screamed like girls.  The can must not have been completely empty because when they ran back in the house they all smelled like they had been bathed in disinfectant.  I still smile to myself every time I envision that scene of the three of them having such a great time burning trash.



I've had the privilege of knowing Josh for a time, he is the little brother I never had but always wanted. I'm touched by something special to have gotten to spend time with him. He will live on forever in our memories and in our hearts,he's a genuine person that will forever be missed and loved. He took a piece of my heart with him. My heart and thoughts are with his family in this time of great loss.



God needed the warmth of the precious smile from little Josh to light up the heavens. We will remember him for the joy that he shared unconditionally with so many. Even though his life was cut short, it was a life well lived.  And, we are all just a little bit better for having known this touching and sweet young man.    To big and little Rick, Suzette Tiffany, Aunt Ruth, Uncle Bubba and friends, we pour out our hearts through prayer for your sorrow. My mother called me first thing this morning to tell me the news and I'm still in shock.    Josh's brother, Rick, was my boyfriend in elementary school and we still remain friends to this day, although it has been a while since we've seen one another.  I used to spend a lot of time with Rick and his family back then, and Josh was always there to hang with us.  I'll never forget that infamous trampoline!  Like everyone has said, he was the sweetest boy you could ever meet.  He started at MAC when I was a Junior and I knew we didn't have to worry about him since Rick was around.  I'd even give him rides home from school time to time.  Although I never had a doubt, I'm glad to know that he grew into such a handsome, caring young man.    Suzette, Rick and Tiffany, I can not imagine what you must be feeling.  You never think something like this will happen to someone you love.  Even though it doesn't make sense, trust in God; he knows what he's doing.  My thoughts, prayers and tears are with you at this difficult time.  I will see you at the viewing tonight. Suzette,  How my heart breaks for you and your family. I never had the privilege of knowing Josh, but when you and I have visited I could feel the love you had for him in talkng about him. There was a mother-son bond that was indescribable. Thats why the news of his death has hurt so bad, because I know you and how much you love your children. I've know Josh for a long time he was one of my brother's best friends. He was one of a kind, with such a special and unique heart. He had such a great personality and you knew he'd always make you laugh. I couldn't help but to smile every time I saw him. He was one of the most genuine and sincere man I've ever met, you just knew what he told you came from his heart and he meant it. He was like a brother to me and always made sure to watch out for me through school. I've always watched out for Tiffany through the years and was one of the last requests he asked of me. I'll keep my promise and always be there for her and his family. Josh and his family will forever be in my prayers. Even though he may not be here physically on earth his beautiful soul will always be with us and watching over us. I'll never forget his precious smile and gentle eyes but will miss him until I see him again. My deepest love and condolences to his family.



Josh was my best friend. We talked almost everyday. He was funny, caring, smart, and a wonderful listener. He loved his family, especially his baby sister Natalie, and he loved Vanessa. I just had lunch with him on Thursday, and all he could talk about was how excited he was to see her. I'm really going to miss him, and nothing will be the same without him.



I've known Josh since I was a little girl. He was one of my brother's bestfriends. He was the friend of my brothers that I always had a crush on. " He was my first crush". I remember he and my brother would go papering houses and terrorizing neighbors and I always wanted to go with them. I remember one cold, icy afternoon when Josh, Jon, Tiffany, and I where all together because school was out. We decided to go to Josh and Tiffany's house and jump on the trampoline. The trampoline was frozen over, and we had so much fun breaking the ice,pushing each other down, and sliding across the trampoline ( almost falling off). I miss Josh very much, and I can't bare the thought of what his family is going through. All I know is that Josh and his beloved family is in my prayers. His body may be dead but his spirit will live on forever and so will his memory.



Josh was a very caring and compassionate person whom I watched grow up from a young child into a young man. He always had the brightest smile and sense of humor. Joshua, you will be deeply missed by all of us yet your memory will live on forever in our hearts. We love you Josh
