Jonathan was an amazing person. He was a wonderful son, brother, friend, and fiancé. Jonathan was caring, thoughtful, compassionate, protective, and very intelligent. He was full of life and always had a smile on his face, which was contagious. He knew how to make you laugh. Jonathan will always be loved by all who knew him. His beautiful light brown eyes twinkled when he smiled.
Jonathan was always on the go as if he knew he did not have much time. He loved the outdoors, sports, and working on cars. He loved playing his guitar, learning new songs, and listening to music. When he wanted to unwind, you would find him watching movies that he had collected.
In his spare time, Jonathan enjoyed building things—computers, gadgets, and the like. He had an amazing mind.
We thank God for the time he allowed him to spend with us.
Jonathan will be sadly missed by his parents, Rolando and Lydia Salas; brother, Joshua Salas; sister, Amanda Salas; fiancée, Wendy Garcia; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 7, 2014 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel. Interment will be at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
