Jonathan Lindsy Booker

Jonathan Booker, also known as Jonny Slie, passed away at his home on January 15, 2020. He was a loving father, friend, son, brother, and uncle. He loved his art. He was a very accomplished graffiti artist, known around the world. He was a musician and a lyricist. He also was very accomplished at beatboxing. He loved all types of music and movies. He loved his family: most importantly, his son Vincenzo, Jennifer Christiano, his best friend and Vincenzo’s mother. Quick to smile, Jon was extremely charismatic with an incredible sense of humor. He was a borderline comedian! He was very caring and always willing to help anyone in need. A true friend; he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents: David Booker, Diann Krag, Stepfather-Scott Krag, Sister Vennessa Booker, Brother-Brett Booker, and his Niece-Skye Bolen. There will be a celebration of life in Santa Cruz, California on February 8, place and time yet to be determined. Also on February 8, a memorial graffiti Mural will be painted on the wall of Bills Wheels skate shop in Santa Cruz to honor Jon, his art, and his life. During this time, we will enjoy a barbecue with refreshments as we celebrate Jon.
