He is survived by his mother, Nora Rivas; sons, Joe Angel Arellano, Jimmy Rivas IV, and Donavan Rivas; daughters, Sandra Rivas, Stephanie Maldonado and Victoria Hernandez,; brothers, Richard Rivas, Gabriel Rivas and wife Susie, Leonard Rivas and wife Annie; sisters, Gina Rivas and husband Patrick, Nita Rivas and husband James; grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father Jimmy Rivas and brother Arthur (Tudor) Rivas.
Serving as pallbearers are his children; Joe Arellano, Sandra Rivas, Stephanie Maldonado, Jimmy Rivas IV, Donavan Rivas and Victoria Hernandez.
