Jason O’Neal Stewart, age 22, of Austin, Texas, died on Saturday, June 10, 2006, in Erath County, Texas. He was born on November 22, 1983, in Austin, Texas. Jason is survived by his father, Donnie Stewart of Austin, TX; sister, Hahja Lynn Peterson of Austin, TX; maternal grandfather, Hartwin R. Peterson and wife Barbara of Fredericksburg, TX and maternal grandmother Clara Inez Peterson of Austin, TX; paternal grandparents, Melvin and Olene Stewart of Florence, TX; five uncles, Dr. Hart Peterson of Austin, TX, Dr. Arthur Peterson of Austin, TX, Lyndell Stewart and wife Nancy of Florence, TX, Hershel Stewart and wife Pat of Georgetown, TX, and Randy Stewart of Temple, TX; numerous cousins, close friends from Westwood High School , Austin-Bergstrom General Aviation Facility, and his classmates from the aviation program at Central Texas College. He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Deen Peterson. Jason was an instrument rated pilot, employed by Aerial Visions of Weatherford, Texas, with plans to enroll at the University of Texas at Austin in their new program of Religious Studies. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2006, at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel.
