He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and BBQ’ing. He also enjoyed spending time, and telling jokes, with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Gilly; his sister Mary Harley; his children Pat Chelf McCool, Mike Chelf and wife Debbie, Sandy Chelf Wile and husband Ron; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; Karen Nelson and Rick and Lori Kasper and their children and numerous other nieces and nephews.
