Heather Lynn Shaw

She was born in Rochester, Minnesota, on June 28, 1974,to Ron and Sharon Shaw,

and was the younger sister of Reed Shaw. She lived in Rochester until 1980 when

her family moved to Austin.

Heather attended Round Rock Schools and graduated from the University of Texas

During high school and college, she held a variety of part time jobs. For most of her

professional career, she worked as a project coordinator/manager.

Heather cared deeply about all life. She loved animals. During her lifetime, she

owned several dogs, all of them mixed breeds. She was a loyal Minnesota Viking

fan and had a variety of Viking t-shirts and pom-poms to cheer on the team. Heather enjoyed

creating her own art—she painted, sketched, and wrote musical lyrics.

She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her nieces, Sloane and Meredith.

Besides her parents Ron and Sharon, she is survived by her brother Reed,

his wife Jennifer, and their two daughters, Meredith and Sloane; one aunt

Cleone Swanner; numerous cousins; and friends. She will be greatly missed.

animal-related charity (e.g. SPCA, Pets Alive, Living Grace Canine Ranch).
