Haley “Hazey” Frances Womack, 25, of Austin, TX died Wednesday, April 21st, 2021. Our fearless Flame Princess now resides in the wind that blows through the trees, in music as we dance, in the memories we share, in the space reserved just for her in our hearts.
Haley was born to Debbie and Kevin Womack on December 1st, 1995 in Plano, TX. Haley was a 2014 graduate of Wakeland High School in Frisco, TX. Haley attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2018 with a degree in Psychology and was a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society. During her time at school, our fearless Hazey loved acting in student film projects and participating in freestyle dance battles.
Haley had so much empathy for people and spent time volunteering with the Alzheimer's Association. She was a program intern for the Center for Child Protection and a Research Assistant at the University of Texas Psychology program.
Our “Hazey” was a unique and free spirit that loved trying new things. Every person she came across, she accepted with an open heart and zero judgement. She embraced the differences in everyone. Hazey had a way of making people laugh. People say “her smile could light up a room”. She was kind and loyal, having many of the same friends since her childhood. She absolutely loved free-style dancing, playing soccer, and being out in nature with her fur baby Athena.
Preceded in death was, grandfather Gary Johnson.
Haley is survived by her parents, Debbie and Kevin Womack; Sister, Ally Womack; Boyfriend, Brandon Tijerina; Grandparents, Cheryl Warrick, Linda Womack, Jackie and Harlan Womack, Travis Wood; Uncles/Aunts, Jayson and Stephanie Spaits, Rachel and Mario de Martinez; Cousins, Ollie and Simon Spaits, Lena de Martinez; Fur baby, Athena.
