Fred Garcia

Fred attended Sul Ross State University and served in the United States Air Force. He retired from American National Insurance Company after 30 plus years of employment and having received multiple performance awards including the coveted President’s Club Award numerous times. Fred was a member of St Mary’s Cathedral Holy Name Society. At St Mary’s, he also served his community as a Eucharistic Minister, Usher and Substitute Sunday School Teacher. Additionally Fred was a Sierra Club Member.

Fred is survived by his wife Pauline; son Jon Marc, daughter Raquel; his grandchildren Sydney, Chloe, Aidan, Avery, Addison, and Carly; his siblings Rudy, Amelia, Abel and Abel’s wife Minga. Preceding him on his journey are his sister Bell, and brothers Jesse, Alfredo, Diego, and Augustine.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 3, 2018 with a Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Celebration will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 10000 David Moore Drive. Interment to follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park.
