Devoted Mother, Grandmother and friend
Ernestine Tina Mary Annichino - Gray, 88, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 1st, with her youngest daughter and grandson by her side.
Tina was born February 23rd, 1930, in White Plains, New York to Emma Gumay Egger Annichino and Clement Annichino.
In 1949 Tina graduated from White Plains High School where she was involved in cheerleading, basketball and archery. Tina then attended school for stenography and then became a private secretary. Tina then married Roland B. Gray and due his job, relocated to Houston, Texas in 1972.
While in Texas Tina was a homemaker, artist, gourmet cook and avid tennis player. Tina was a member
of the Northampton Division B Tennis Team where she was a first place winner in the Ladies Northwest Tennis League. Tina also played golf and skied when on family vacations to Colorado. Overall, Tina was a very athletic person with many interests. Tina also took the time to volunteer at her local hospitals and the AIDS/Hospice in New Orleans, LA.
Tina is survived by her eldest sister Katherine Devlin, her Daughters Tracy, Michelle and Kimberly. Four Grandchildren Jude, Emily, Madison and Charlie. Her Nieces Janet, Kathy, and her Nephews Jim, Tom and Joesph Annichino.
She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father. Brother's Patrick Annichino and Joe Annichino , Deedee.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 15th at 10:00am Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home in Austin, Texas.
