Erlinda, also known as Linda, was born October 30, 1956, in Marlin, Texas. In addition, was a long time resident of the Austin Texas Area. She was a beloved sister, mother, tia, and wella. She had many talents. She was an excellent cook and baker, party planner, seamstress, home decorator, bargain shopper, dancer, and larger than life.
Erlinda is survived by her oldest son, Christopher Boots; her second son and pride and joy, Kevin Boots; her youngest daughter, Jessica Ruiz; her first born granddaughter, Hailey Boots; and her grandson, Jordan Boots her three sisters, Gloria Hermosillo, Carmen Schaefer, Mary Jane Rios; her five brothers, Jessie Rios, Charlie Rios, Pete Rios, David Rios, and Edward Rios; her six nieces, Jessica Gonzales, Rebecca Gonzales, Danielle Hermosillo, Christina Rios, Samantha Salinas, Michelle Woodburry-Alderson; her seven nephews, Mathew Yocum, Marcus Rios, Michael Torres, Alex Rios, Andy Rios, Jo Jo Rios, and Joey David Rios.
The family will receive extended family and friends from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel, 2620 South Congress with a Memorial Service to begin at 6:00 pm.
