He was a proud Army veteran of the Korean War and retired member of the IUEC Local 2 of Chicago, IL.

You will be forever missed. Your smile, your love and knowledge of birds, your knowledge of war history, your friendly discussion with neighbors in your camouflage hat, your trips with casino friends; the memories of pulling grandkids in wagons and on sleds and cardboard boxes in the snow, riding bikes along side them, and holding their little hand as you guided them to the park; your homemade salsa made in your one-of-a-kind molcajete , your perfectly selected watermelons, and your love for Strawberry soda pop will be forever etched in our memories and our heart.
