I remember meeting you at Pillow, had some great times over the years.  I always enjoyed bumping in to you when I was out and catching up on life.  You will be missed my friend and I hope you are in a better place.  See you when I get there!

Donald you will be truly missed , you were like one of my sons.  Every time I would see you, you would always give me a hug and asked how are you doing mom.   You and Adam because best friends growing up.  It breaks my heart that I will never see you again.  RIP

Donald and I go way back sense 10 th grade at Anderson high school. Donald and I became close doing our senior year. Donald was there for me when I really needed someone. Donald became my brother/ my best friend over the years. He gave me his blessing when I told him I was getting married and was proud that I asked him to give me away and signed my marriage license as one of the witnesses. Donald always had my back and I had his. All the 2 hour talks, words of encouragement I will truly miss. My brother and best friend. Love you always Donald 

I haven't lived in Austin since I graduated high school in 1999. I have never forgotten the fun times I had with Donald. He is one of the few friends I had outside of school.  Our sincere condolences to his family and friends from the McConnell's in Bellevue Nebraska.

Donald, my friend of 18 years, I miss you! You made it a point to support anyone and everyone around you! You had the spirit that everyone wanted and we hope we make you proud as you look down upon us as you sit next to Jesus! Tell my grandma and grandpa I said, “hi”. 💙💙 We love you Donald and your mom and daughter will be taken care of. We got you, don’t worry, rest easy.
Your home going will be emotional, but the city of Austin is coming together for you and the imprint you left on people’s lives. We love you!

Way too soon. You’re one of those people that could make a friend out of anyone with one simple conversation. You kept me laughing when I worked the bar back in the good ole Mojoes days. And from what I can see, you will be greatly missed.   A piece of you is still down here walking around, keep an eye on her from up there my guy. 

From The 3rd Grade to Adulthood youve always been my Brother and My Bestfriend. Words cant express how much you meant to me and many others youve come in contact with. I will miss you Brother and The love will never Stop.

I'll never forget how much loved you showed me in every aspect of my life. You called me nephew but gave me the type of love a father gives a son. We did everything together. I was by your side so much people hardly saw me with out you and vice versa. Rest in Heaven. Your family still holding it down for you on Earth. And though your body is no longer with us. The LOVE will never be taken away.

For all those that new my brother, knows he had a HUGE heart and a giving spirit. He was amazing at bringing  everyone together over good food, music, and bonding. He never met a stranger, and made himself available in any crisis and for EVERY celebration.

Donald was a kind spirit to be around. Always had a smile upon his face.  Blessed to have known him over these many years. It saddens me deeply you’re not here anymore in the flesh. However, spiritually I know that you are. But I have many memories of us.  I’ll never forget your smile, I’ll never forget your acts of kindness, most of all I’ll NEVER forget YOU!
