Diana was born to Leo and Mildred (Wood) Stelzleni in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Normandy High School and attended Harris Teachers College. Diana met the love of her life, Don Wise, in St. Louis and they were married on March 21, 1964. After their marriage, Don and Diana relocated several times, making life-long friends in Raleigh, North Carolina, Yorktown Heights, New York, and Austin, Texas.
Diana worked as the Office Manager at Bailey Square Urology Clinic for many years but her pride and joy was in raising her family and this was her true calling. Her life was dedicated to those she loved and her family loved her beyond measure.
Diana is survived by her son, Greg Wise and wife, Susan, daughter, Marcie (Wise) Davis Skonieczny and husband, David, and son, Brad Wise and his wife, Shadna, all of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by the grandchildren she cherished, Alison Wise, Conner Davis, Macy Wise, Claire Davis and Reagan Wise, all of Austin, TX; nieces Gina (Stelzleni) Siebe, Lisa (Stelzleni) Scherer, Anna (Stelzleni) Jewson and Lori (True) Gosnell; sister-in-law Gail (Wise) True, and many friends who loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Don Wise, parents, Leo and Mildred Stelzleni, brother, Gary Stelzleni, and son-in-law, Jamie Davis.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm, on September 10, 2021, at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, TX 78750. Out of an abundance of caution, masks will be required. Obituary and guestbook available online at dignitymemorial.com.
