David Robert Fink

David earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago, and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. David had a beautiful tenor voice and studied with a vocal instructor at The Juilliard School in New York City.

He also volunteered as a photographer for the Daily Texan at UT Austin. David loved music, travel, fine food, and wine. He had an ever-present curiosity about all things, especially chemistry. His illness cut short his study of chemistry at UT Austin, for which earned Phi Beta Kappa.

David was also a loving and devoted father to his three children, and he was an at-home parent to them for many years. David is survived by his father Richard Fink, his mother Elaine Handelman, his sister Susan Fink, and his three children, Aria Minns-Fink, Solomon Minns-Fink, and Zohara Minns-Fink.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, November 12th at 11 am at Adath Jeshurun, 10500 Hillside Lane West, Minnetonka MN 55305. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Agudas Achim, 7300 Hart Lane, Austin, TX 78731.
