Daryl Ray Goss passed away at the age of 49 on February 27, 2022; Austin, Texas. Daryl was a proud, loving, hard-working man who cherished his family and friends above all else. He happily celebrated his life with Jennifer Goss for 29 years and brought more love to their family through their two children; Kyle, 16, and Alice, 13. A perfect day for Daryl was at the lake fishing on the dock and cooking on the grill for his family; at which he was greatly skilled. Daryl brought so much life to his home and conversations with him were a gift and an adventure. He was born January 2, 1973, in Wichita Falls TX into the loving family of his mother, Susie Goss, and his brother Brent. We hope everyone remembers Daryl for his kindness, humor, and resilience, and may we all honor him through the rest of our lives. Daryl is survived by his wife Jennifer, and two children, Kyle and Alice. His mother, Susie Goss, of Buda TX. His brother, Brent Goss, of Austin TX, and his nephews, Nathan and Scott Goss. He is also survived by his siblings Jamalynn Goss-Holloway of Greeley CO, Aaron Goss of Tulsa OK, and De’Amber Watkins of Charleston SC.

A visitation for Daryl will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Bethany Lutheran Church, 3701 W Slaughter Lane, Austin, TX 78749.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be sent to Texas Parks and Wildlife, Inland Fisheries Management.
