Dana Ann Wirth Marley passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 in Austin, Texas at the age of 60 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dana was dearly loved by her husband, of 36 years, Steve and their children Spencer, Lauren (Sam) and Belle. She is also survived by her sisters Jenny (Bob Ziegler) and Amy Wirth.
Dana was born to Charles F. Wirth and Eileen (Pawlak) Wirth in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on January 7th, 1961. She attended Shaler Area High School, and later worked in the hotel and travel industry in several cities finally landing in Austin to raise her family. In her free time, Dana loved to travel, and Costa Rica was her favorite place. Despite living in Austin for most of her adult life, she was a die-hard Steelers fan and loved watching Sunday night games. Ultimately, her favorite thing to do was be a loving wife, mom, and friend, and she will be missed dearly by all.
A visitation for Dana will take place at Cook Walden/Forest Oaks on Monday, December 20th from 9-11am.
