Cory’s love for baseball continued through college, where he played for the University of Texas at Austin and Texas State University, graduating in 2004. His time on the field was marked by a fierce commitment to the game and a genuine love for being part of a team.
Cory was a devoted father to six beloved children. He poured his heart into fatherhood, raising his children with love and unwavering commitment. After moving to Dallas, Cory married Bailee Box Covert. As a father, Cory’s warmth, humor, and dedication were evident in every aspect of his children’s lives, leaving a legacy of love and support that will endure.
