Cindy Gordon

The memorial service will be on Thursday, March 9th at 10 a.m. at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home at 2620 South Congress Ave., Austin, TX. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8th at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to researchers working to find a cure for cancer (https://donate.cancer.org) or diabetes (http://www.diabetes.org).

Cindy was born December 30, 1959, in Galveston, TX to Charles and June McKinley. Cindy loved Jesus and His Word. Her days were filled with an outpouring of love and sacrifice in serving others as she modeled the Lord's love and sacrifice for her. She encouraged those around her to be kind and to look for ways to serve. Her life was centered around raising five children and supporting her family. This attitude of love, kindness, and self-sacrifice is the legacy she leaves behind. All who knew Cindy were forever changed by her zeal for life, her affectionate smile and her unconditional love.

Cindy is survived by her five children, Jessi Bynum and spouse Dustin, Jacob Wiederanders and spouse Lauren, and Thomas, Alex, and Daniel Gordon; her four brothers, Charles, Chris, Carl, and Curtis McKinley; her parents, June and Charles McKinley; her grandchildren, Aubri, Alivia, Isaac and Levi Bynum and countless family members and friends.
