Calvin Chester Hunt, 89 of Austin, Texas passed away October 1, 2015. He was born in Georgetown, Texas on June 2, 1926 and graduated from Andice High School. Chester married Ivy Juanita Peterson in 1950. He owned and operated C-Hunt’s Icehouse and Hunt’s Meat Market. He was also a member of T. Neal Porter Masonic Lodge #1354.
Chester is preceded in death by his son, Johnny Wayne Hunt and his wife, Ivy. He is survived by his daughter, Ivy Diane Hunt and his son, Gregory Chester Hunt.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752. Burial will follow at Georgetown Evangelical Free Church Cemetery, 44181 County Rd #110, Georgetown, TX 78626.
