Celeste Ina Kroger Cernik came into this world on March 24, 1923 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and joined the Lord on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in Austin Texas, at the age of 96.
She was born to John Malcolm Kroger and Celeste Arbor Kroger, her siblings included Marie Louise, John Malcolm Jr and George Stevens.
She was predeceased in death by her husband Ronald Joseph Cernik, her son Arthur Rivers Nettles III, her parents John and Celeste Kroger, and siblings Marie Louise and John. She is survived by her brother Steve, her daughters Cecelia, Diane, Cynthia and Janelle as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She loved driving in the country and looking at the wildflowers, listening to Patsy Cline, watching Fixer Upper and being in the company of her family.
