Brandy Davis

Brandy, our sister, was born on December 1st, 1956 and died July 3rd, 2021 of cancer. Diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer and given 4 to 6 months to live in November of 2019, she fought the hardest fight of her life and won extra time. She was born and raised in Volente, Texas, back in the day when everybody knew each other and would gather and party at the many beer joints in Volente. Although small in stature, she had the biggest heart and would give you the shirt off of her back and would then steal it back. Even though she was only 5ft tall, cross her, she then became 10ft tall and bulletproof. She lived life on her terms. Brandy always enjoyed a party and loved her music and dancing. Brandy had many friends of very different styles that she enjoyed life with. She will be dearly missed by them as well as by her family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Libby Davis and her brother, Ronny Davis. She is survived by her sister and brother, Shell and Shayne, two Aunts, Margaret and Carmen, many nieces and cousins and Lil’ Shayne, her favorite nephew. Her niece Gayla and she had a special bond that was irreplaceable. These great times will be missed by all of us.

A memorial service will be at Twin Creeks Icehouse on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.
