"In the late afternoon on Friday March 3rd 2017 heaven received another beautiful angel. Our beloved Bonnie L. Anderson went on to rest in eternal peace surrounded by her loved ones. Bonnie lived a long-dedicated life and wore many titles that we hold so dear to us. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend any of us could have ever asked for. Born in Thorndale and raised in Central Texas, Bonnie went on to work for the State of Texas at the TX Rehabilitation Commission for over 30 years retiring long after many choose to do so. Never late a day in her life very few can accomplish that never having received a single speeding ticket. We will miss our Christmas Eves opening presents around her beautifully decorated Christmas trees and most definitely her famous banana pudding we looked forward to at every family function. Bonnie remained a warrior throughout many tragedies in her life and though the pain of her passing is great, we find peace in the fact that she is no longer in pain and is now watching over us amongst our heavenly father, her son Don, husband John, and the rest of our loved ones that have gone on before us. Bonnie is survived by her children, Cathy Jones and spouse Ernie, Joy Anderson, and Kimberly Brown and spouse Matt; her grandchildren, Dustin, Meagan and spouse Brittany, Cody, Cade, Kinley, Brodie; great-grandbaby, Harper, her sister, Billye Goertz and spouse Willford; along with her cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous other family, friends, and her beloved dog. Ben. Visitation will be from 6: 00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 7th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home 2620 South Congress with Funeral Services taking place at the same location at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 8th. Go rest high on that mountain, momma. Your work on earth is done."
