Beatrice Griffith Rosenbusch Beatrice Griffith Rosenbusch passed away November 1, 2004. Bea, as she was known by her family and friends, lived her life filled with love for them, with an appreciation for the gifts that God bestowed on her and the assurance of her eternal life with God. Bea was born December 11, 1926 in Burnet County, Texas to William De Witt and Willie Alma Griffith and a family that included three brothers and six sisters. She married Walter Paul Rosenbusch May 6, 1946 and they were blessed with three daughters and one son. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and oldest daughter Paula Lynette Anderson, brothers Walter Giles Griffith, Eldon Earl Griffith and William DeWitt Griffith, Jr., sisters Margaret Marie Peters, Viola Modell Anderson and granddaughter Tracy Lynn Sobeck. She is survived by daughters Margaret Elaine Sobeck and husband John, Alleene Denise Thrash and son Walter Carl Rosenbusch and wife Stephanie, step daughter Barbara Jean Steinle, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters Wilma Pearl DeLeon and Alma Jerline Tobler, several nieces, nephews and close dear friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2004 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 6800 Woodrow, with Reverend Mark McNeese officiating. Interment will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in the name of Beatrice Rosenbusch, Greater Austin Chapter, 3420 Executive Center Dr., Suite 301, Austin, Texas 78731.
