Anna E. Carter

Ann was born January 8, 1934 to Josephine and Robert Birdwell in Austin, Texas. Ann graduated from Austin High School in 1951. She married the love of her life on October 25, 1955. They had two daughters Sharon Jacoby (husband Randy) and Brenda Burnette (husband Kelly).

Ann spent much of her leisure time outdoors gardening and traveling. She was very creative and loved to craft and sew but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, her 8 grandkids and 14 great grandchildren.

Ann retired from the Travis County Clerk’s office in 1991 after 26 years of service.

Pallbearers will be: Jason Nettle, Jason Nehring, Byron Burnette, Kiall Luckie, Brandon Nehring, and Kaelin Burnette.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 9th at Cook-Walden Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 10th at 2:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas. Interment to follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery Pflugerville, Texas.
