Ann Howard Martin Bair, passed away on December 28, 2018 in Austin, Texas. She was born April 1, 1954 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Frances Griggs Martin and William Howard Martin. Growing up Ann was a kind, charismatic, outgoing girl whose love for the sun developed into a wanderlust for travel.
After graduating from Wichita Falls High School in 1972, Ann attended the University of Texas at Austin and was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. After college, Ann spent the early 1980s in Odessa, Texas where she was blessed with two sons. Eventually she would return to Austin and marry Warren Gregory Bair on April 4, 1992.
Ann was known for her great sense of humor (she was always up for a good laugh), her fierce loyalty to those she loved, and an intense love for her children and grandchildren. She was happiest when she was near family or when she was traveling. Ann is survived by her husband, Greg Bair; son, William Bradford Majors and wife Lindsey; son, Jonathan Blake Majors; and two grandsons, Caven and Crawford Majors; her sister, Mary Martin Minchew and niece, Maren Minchew.
Family and friends whose lives were touched by Ann are invited to services on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church - 209 W. 27th St., Austin, Texas 78705. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the charity of your choice or the Helping Hand Home for Children in Austin, TX.
