“What eye has not seen, and ear has not heard,
and what has entered the human heart what
God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1Corinthians 2:9
Albert was the 6th of 10 children born to Joseph and Hermina Mokry, in Granger, Texas. He attended the Texas School for the Deaf, and was a hard working employee for the Deaf School for 26 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a very good fisherman, and he was always interested in nature. He loved gardening, watching and predicting the weather, and watching animal shows on TV.
Albert was thoughtful, generous, and helpful to all his family and friends. He loved to joke and tease and be a part of all the good family times. In fact, his large family was everything to him. He was a wonderful son, brother, and uncle to all his nephews and nieces as they grew up. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Hermina Mokry, 3 brothers, Dan Joe and Bob Mokry.
Albert will always be loved and missed by his surviving family which included 4 sisters: Edith Crawford, Helen Mokry, Mildred Trank, and Loretta Ciora; 2 brothers, Roman Mokry and Clarence Mokry, and also many in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Albert was a faithful member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Austin. He served in the St. Louis Food Pantry for many years. We trust God will reward his devout and humble life with eternal healing and peace.
