Robert Frederick Pickford

Rob has been a caring partner to Cari for 22 years, and a devoted and deeply proud father to their three children Samantha, Jessica and James. Rob is also survived by his mother (Elizabeth Pickford nee Cathers) and sister (Sandii Pickford).

Robert lived for the outdoors and spent countless hours ATVing, snowmobiling and riding dirt bikes at his family property in Newmarket. Summers were spent boating and exploring the islands and shipwrecks on beautiful Georgian Bay. Regardless of the season, Rob could always be found surrounded by family, friends, and his beloved dogs. He loved nothing more than to share his toys and his time with everyone who crossed his path, and was a generous and loyal friend to many.

In keeping with his wishes the immediate family has held a private service. A Celebration of Life is planned outdoors at the family property when weather permits, so that friends, family and dogs can enjoy the trails he loved so much and honour the memory of this very special, one of a kind man.
