Muriel Florence Goss

Muriel passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 13, 2023 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late William Matthew Goss. Loving mother of Cathy Wright (Tom), the late Gary (Joni, Marianne), Bob (Sharon) and Donna Mills. Muriel was the loving matriarch of her family, William and Muriel’s progeny includes 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She will be missed by her sisters, Ida Crowley and Rita Veinot. Muriel was predeceased by siblings, Albert, Gerald and Leo McSween.

She will be remembered by many as a dedicated Registered Nurse, who was devoted to her Roman Catholic faith. Muriel was a creative woman, who loved to dance and sing and did so up until most recently.

Muriel's family would like to express their appreciation for the excellent care Muriel received at Hollandview Trail Retirement Home and also to the staff at Southlake Regional Health Care, thank you.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11 am at Our Lady of Grace, 15347 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G 1N7. A Celebration of Life to follow at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora.

Muriel’s family request that in lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Muriel’s memory to CAMH.

Muriel will be “Forever and Always” loved and missed.
