I remember fondly coming to your house back in high school and being so warmly welcomed by your Mom.  Although I didn’t know her well, I sensed a deep kindness of heart, and a unique and beautiful soul.   You have been in my thoughts and prayers, sending you both all my love at this time.

I met Mary Ellen at the York Region Community choir where we both sang in the alto section.  She became a friend, and along with Anne and Peggy, we had lunches together and went to Anne's cottage several times. She was one of the Bigley girls, as we liked to call ourselves. 
Mary Ellen was kind and caring and she always listened. A true lady in every sense of the word. I will miss her. 

Dear Anna and  Mark,

I will always remember your mom, she was one of the nicest friends. She genuinely care and wanted the best for others. She was always there to share in family time with us, when there wasn’t anyone else. She help me back in the day with Erica when I needed a friend. She even came out to some of Jeffrey’s hockey games. She was so very special to us. I will always remember our coffee chats were we laughed and cried together. So when all your tears dry up and you can smile and laugh again she will know you are okay.

I was extremely saddened to learn of Mary Ellen's passing - so very sorry for the loss of this kind and loving family member and a friend to many. My deepest sympathy to all, especially Anna, Mark and granddaughter Amari.

On Friday morning, we, who are unable to attend the funeral, will join family and friends in prayer for the repose of Mary Ellen's soul during Divine Liturgy at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Etobicoke.

I offer my deepest sympathy to the family of Mary Ellen, particularly her daughter Anna and her son Mark.
Mary Ellen was a treasured friend and I will always  hold her close to my heart.  It is difficult to capture in a few words the amazing woman she was, so gentle,  kind, supportive, accepting of others and so full of dignity and grace.
I know she is in the arms of God and with her beloved husband Harv and this is comforting but I will miss her friendship , there is an absence in my heart for this beautiful friend. 

Mary Ellen has been a dear friend throughout the many years of our careers and into our retirement years. 
Such a special lady, always so generous with her time, compassion and caring.  At the same time, enjoying so many outside interests with friends and especially with family.
Anna and Mark, my deepest sympathy to you and to your partners.  Amari, your Nana  had the greatest love for you, talking about you, sharing pictures of you and most of all, just being with you.

We are so saddened to hear of your loss of a beautiful mother , sister and cousin ,  MaryEllen. I have fond  memories growing up with the Ramsay family that lived in Sharon . As a cousin coming from Willowdale , it seemed a far away place.  We were always excited  to visit with our cousins , Louis, MaryEllen , Danny, Marie , Vince , Clare and Frank and to help build their new home in Sharon . We lost touch  over the years. Recently, I did reconnect with MaryEllen . She was so excited to share her photos and to talk about her beautiful grandson , Amari .

Mary Ellen meant so much to me.  We were colleagues and very good friends for many years.  We supported each other during challenging times and got together as often as possible after retirement.  I will always cherish the memories of our walks, talks, laughter and tears.  Mary Ellen loved her children so very much and was thrilled to be Nana to her beautiful Amari.  She was the epitome of kindness, selflessness- intelligent and thoughtful - a true inspiration.  I will miss her so very much.

Mary Ellen and I had a wonderful week in Boston just before she retired.  I will cherish those memories forever….

She was such a wonderful mentor and friend whose smile would light up a room.  I fondly remember her quirky sense of humour and the fun times we had together while working on the same team. I was very blessed to have worked with Mary Ellen for so many years. We had many laughs and I have some very fond memories of our time together.
