He leaves behind his wife Lianne (Pyle), his “favourite” daughter Kaitlin, his “favourite” son Austin and his beloved dog, Iris. Also grieving the passing of Frank is his sister Marg, brother-in-law Darcy, sister-in-law Jennie Lee, brother-in-law, Dave, nephews Tom (Kerry), Steve (Nicole), Adam (Brenda) and his niece Amy (Brett). Frank is also survived by his great nieces Scarlett, Mavis, and Raegan, and great nephews Brooks and Casey, who will miss him dearly.
Frank is remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family and friends, his kindness, and his generous spirit. His legacy is one of love and devotion and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Frank was deeply cherished by many, known for his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need, any time. Lianne fondly recalls that anywhere they would go - whether it was the local hardware store, or travelling to another country, Frank would run into someone he knew. He loved spending time with family and friends at the cottage that he worked on constantly on Chandos Lake as well as at his beautiful home in Aurora. Frank was always busy doing something.
Growing up, he enjoyed playing hockey as a player and eventually a goalie in his later years. He continued his passion for hockey through volunteering for both Kaitlin and Austin’s hockey teams, either as a coach or as a trainer for many years.
A true mechanic at heart, Frank loved any machine with an engine. Whether it was cars, boats, ATV’s, snowmobiles, or pretty much anything that could go at a decent speed, Frank cherished them all.
Frank dedicated many hours volunteering with his second family, team members and recipients of Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada during their MotoMax and Drive 4 Smiles events. He was able to share his passion by taking seriously ill children and their families on ATV rides, pontoon boat rides and snowmobile rides.
He was always known as the life of the party. He would jokingly say to guests departing the Kiraly residence, “straight home now, no going to the legion.”
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 26th at the Niagara College - Aurora Armoury, 89 Mosley St. in Aurora from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Prior to the celebration of life, the immediate family will gather for a private service at Thompson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada https://give.starlightcanada.org or an Animal Rescue of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
