Rick was born on April 15, 1943, in Old Hundred, North Carolina. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle. Rick married his wife, Pamela Sinks Munn, on June 22, 1963. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage. He has two daughters, Dana Faith Munn (Crissy Buice) and Helen Lynn Dean (Phillip Rausch). He is also preceded by Sister-In-Law, Debbie Christesen, Hephizabah, GA, and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Rick also has surviving brothers, William Grey Munn, Columbia, SC, Ladson Frazier Munn, Columbia, SC and Michael Reynolds Munn, Elgin, SC.
Rick was a 22 year Army veteran who served three tours to Vietnam, one tour to Korea, and a tour to the Dominican Republic. After retirement, Rick graduated from Augusta Technical College as a certified Paint and Body Mechanic. He returned to Augusta Technical College as an instructor. He was an avid Nascar fan for many years. He also enjoyed gardening up until his health would no longer allow it.
