Wayne was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He had a big heart and was a loving and caring man. He never met a stranger and he would talk to anyone around. Wayne was a retired pipe fitter and welder with Local 150. In his free time he enjoyed repairing boats.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Clint and Corrine Jones; siblings Rema Jones and Rosanna Edge. He is survived by his loving wife Lynn Jones; daughter Breanna Jones; Siblings Bill (Sue) Jones and Letitia Cook (William); and his four legged companions (cats), Boots and Cali.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, January 6, 2023 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11 am in the Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home followed by interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park
Pallbearers who will honor Mr. Wayne Jones will be Chris Agner, Tyler Agner, Keith Elliott, Austin Elliott, Mike Smith and Bart Jeffcoat. Honorary Pallbearers will be Local 150.
