Tommy Simpson

Mr. Simpson was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. He was a member of McBean Baptist Church in Waynesboro, GA. He was a faithful man who studied his Bible on a daily basis. Mr. Simpson was a special man who adored his wife. He would always say she was the “light of my life”. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who loved him.

Mr. Simpson is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Irene Simpson; and his son, Kelly Simpson. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Carlene Simpson; son, Tommy Simpson, Jr. (Maria); sisters, Brenda Swearingen (Jerry) and Patricia Williams of Saluda, SC; grandchildren, Kevin Simpson (Trey), Shelby Price (Tyler) of Mustang, OK, Allen Simpson and Dylan Simpson of Dearing, GA; and great-grandchildren, Mia Simpson, Kelly Simpson and Tyler “Bubba” Price Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home.
